The Meaning of Orlando Arias’s Work

The renowned art critic, Antonio Calderón de Jesús, says about Arias’s work: “… In addition to having excellent technique in handling various textures and mastery of color, his work is characterized by its content. And it is this interesting content, guided by his experiences, that is present in the collection of paintings at Hotel Casa Fusión. In each painting, we find cyber-Andean beings, as the author calls them, android beings who have been taken over by technology and are being transformed from humans into robots enslaved by technology. To avoid being completely lost, they are in search of the essence of humanity, represented by the light emitted from the vessels with fire that these androids carry in their hands in several of his paintings, where there is still hope. In those where hope has been lost, the fire is extinguished or no longer exists, or the beings have already achieved perfection.” What wisdom this author has, which activates the sensitivity of those who observe his work. Guided Tours of Orlando Arias’s Exhibition

The collection of paintings displayed in the hotel’s reception and meeting room can be visited by the general public. The paintings on the upper floors are available through guided tours and are reserved for our guests. We would be delighted to show you this magnificent work. Before or after the exhibition, you can enjoy a coffee with a pastry from our bakery, Coconut Bakery. Guided tours are available Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m..
